Senior Site Reliability Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a strong Software Engineering background, DevOps expertise, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms and operations.

About the Role:
  • You will enhance system performance and reliability, automate manual processes, collaborate with globally dispersed teams, and provide technical leadership through knowledge sharing and solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews, solution design, and knowledge sharing.
  2. Design and implement solutions to improve platform reliability with mitigation strategies and operational playbooks.
  3. Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive incident response.
  4. Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and blameless post-mortems.
  5. Participate in on-call rotations to support system reliability.
  6. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code.
  7. Optimize databases for high availability and performance.
  8. Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver observable, resilient software.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering roles.
  • 1+ years' experience working on a SaaS platform.
  • Proficient in PHP/Laravel development.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and public cloud providers.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  • Scripting/automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Experience with observability tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CI/CD tooling experience.
  • Relevant cloud/Kubernetes certifications.
  • MSSQL database management/performance tuning experience.
