High-Quality Software Engineer Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Agile development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying sophisticated software systems that meet the needs of our customers.

  1. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with product management, engineering teams, customer success, and support to develop cutting-edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of our offerings.

You will also work independently with minimal guidance from technical leadership and participate in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of our products and services, including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported.

Mentoring other engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews, is an essential part of this role. Additionally, you will research, validate, and recommend technology decisions for new features.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development using object-oriented languages like Python.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting and implementing APIs and integration technologies in distributed environments using REST, SOAP, JSON, Python, Java, etc.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining microservices-based architecture in cloud ecosystems and related technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins and other CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database systems (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB) and knowledge of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL) domain.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing and data lake solutions such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Athena.
  • Experience with queuing SaaS systems like AWS SQS and Kafka.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining software products.
  • Familiarity with established design patterns and strong technical communication skills to interface with cross-functional technical teams within the organization.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
Desirable Requirements
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and experience in large-scale data processing technologies like Apache Spark.
  • Experience with DynamoDB and GraphQL.
  • Proficiency in GoLang or Java.
