Job Title: Senior Software Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead the development of complex software projects from conception to deployment.

  • This involves taking ownership of entire software lifecycles, working closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and scientific research teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of functional and technical requirements, as well as experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate degree or Master's degree with 4-6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related fields;
  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related fields;
  • Diploma with relevant work experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related fields;
  • Experience in implementing and supporting biopharma scientific software platforms;
  • Familiarity with ML or generative AI technologies;
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript (e.g. ExtJS, React, or Angular), and SQL (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks);
  • Knowledge of event-based architecture and serverless AWS services such as EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, or ECS.
