Senior Software Engineering Lead

We are looking for a seasoned software engineering leader to oversee the development of our data storage and query platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding your team in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing software solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business analysts to define project scope and objectives.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to help them grow professionally.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet required quality standards.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrable understanding of Java and Spring framework.
  • Experience with web services development, including RESTful APIs and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with unit-testing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Java development tooling, including Java 17+ SDK, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Experience with contemporary software development life cycles, including Git Flow and CICD.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS cloud services, including DynamoDB, KMS, OpenSearch, Kinesis, S3, SQS, Aurora, and others.
  • SQL, GraphQL, Kotlin, Scala, Python programming languages.
  • SOLID programming principles and pair programming techniques.
  • Kubernetes deployment and Docker images.
