Job Summary:

The Public Relations Communications Specialist plays a vital role in developing and implementing comprehensive PR and communication strategies to enhance brand presence.

About the Role:

  • This position is responsible for developing and implementing PR and communication strategies to increase brand visibility.
  • You will manage print, digital, social, and website media to grow our company's presence.
  • Able to design engaging content using Canva and Photoshop.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
  • Grow and manage our presence on various social media platforms.
  • Coordinate with print media for coverage and advertisements.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Handle crisis communication effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and communication.
  • Postgraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop is required.
  • Strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Experience in handling press releases, on print & digital media is an asset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are desirable.
