This is an exciting opportunity to join our elite team and demonstrate exceptional technical expertise as an engineer on an agile development team. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of a next-generation healthcare data and analytics platform, leveraging your deep experience in data-intensive and distributed systems.

You will work collaboratively with product owners, systems analysts, and software engineers to deliver against an agile roadmap, utilizing your creative problem-solving skills to design innovative solutions. Your extensive knowledge of Java, Azure or AWS, Databricks, Spark, relational and non-relational data storage, and APIs will enable you to drive success in this role.

  • Drive the design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex data-intensive applications, collaborating with architects and other software engineers to evaluate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes for continuous delivery and DevOps within the team, applying your expertise in Agile Delivery and Dev Ops Automation tools.

Key qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of designing and implementing Java-based applications, demonstrating a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • 1-2 years' experience in Azure or AWS, showcasing expertise in cloud computing platforms.
  • 1-2 years' experience in Databricks, highlighting proficiency in big data processing.
  • 1-2 years' experience in Spark, emphasizing expertise in data processing and analytics.
  • Relational and non-relational database delivery experience, with a strong foundation in data modeling and schema design.
  • Agile Delivery experience, with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Dev Ops Automation tools experience, including Oozie, Python, Jenkins, and other relevant technologies.

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with a strong academic background and a passion for learning.
