Medical Content Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Content Specialist to join our team, responsible for supporting healthcare data projects from extraction to analysis and strategic insights.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Data Extraction and Entry: Perform data extraction, entry, and preliminary quality checks for healthcare datasets.
  2. Market Definitions: Assist in creating and managing market definitions, including NDC, ICD, and other disease-related coding.
  3. HCP Profiling: Conduct comprehensive end-to-end HCP profiling using secondary research methodologies.
  4. Data Validation: Validate medical data to ensure adherence to industry quality standards.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data extraction, analysis, and reporting processes.
  6. Project Management: Manage and oversee data extraction and analysis projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  7. Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis and present findings to internal teams and clients.
  8. Research Insights: Engage with medical societies, conferences, associations, and PAGs to gather research insights.
  9. Strategic Planning: Lead strategic planning for medical data projects, aligning with business objectives.
  10. Disease Expertise: Provide domain expertise across multiple disease areas to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  11. Global Teamwork: Collaborate with global teams on high-impact healthcare research projects.
  12. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in data analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
  1. Medical Terminology Knowledge: Strong knowledge of medical terminologies, clinical trial data, and healthcare coding systems.
  2. Data Analysis Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, validation, and project management.
  3. Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  4. Teamwork Skills: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering insights to stakeholders.
  6. Educational Background: B.Pharma Degree preferred (not mandatory).
