Advanced Technical Solutions Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Technical Solutions Developer to join our team.

Job Description:

The Advanced Technical Solutions Developer will be responsible for designing and developing advanced technical solutions that meet business needs in the financial industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development using Oracle Java, with experience in working with Charles River Development IMS, databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle), and API development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop complex technical solutions.
  • Collaborating with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end technical solutions.
  • Performing coding according to technical specifications and evaluating resulting coding components in accordance with company standards.
  • Investigating, analyzing, and documenting reported defects, raising issues as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience required from asset management development experience, specifically in Charles River Development IMS.
  • Experience developing software using Oracle Java.
  • Experience and knowledge of CRD with the ability to develop Charles River interfaces and troubleshoot.
  • Designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Charles River out-of-the-box as well as custom Imports and Exports.
  • Experienced in using Charles River API to develop Java Plugins.
  • Expertise in working with Database Management Systems such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Expertise in developing stored procedures, understanding triggers, creating complex SQL queries using database management systems.
  • Experienced in using Azure DevOps or similar tool to build and release pipelines along with Git.
  • Good understanding of batch scheduling tools.
