Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Core Java programming, API testing with RestAssured, and UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.

  • The Automation Developer will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts for various testing types.
  • They will perform hands-on API testing, focusing on utilizing RestAssured for efficient and comprehensive test automation.
  • Additionally, they will develop and execute automated tests using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
  • The Automation Developer will also integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Furthermore, they will manage and organize test suites and execution using TestNG.
  • They will utilize JIRA for defect reporting and tracking, and Confluence for test documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Moreover, the Automation Developer will contribute to all phases of the testing life cycle, including test planning, test design, test execution, and detailed defect reporting and tracking.
  • They will apply strong analytical skills to understand complex systems, identify test scenarios, and troubleshoot automation issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Core Java Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Core Java programming, with the ability to write complex programs.
  • API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing, specifically with RestAssured.
  • UI Automation: Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Test Frameworks & Tools: Proficiency with TestNG for test management, Jenkins for CI/CD, JIRA for defect tracking, and Confluence for documentation.
  • Testing Lifecycle: Solid understanding of test planning, test design, test execution, and defect reporting & tracking.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Very good analytical and communication skills, including the ability to interact directly with clients.
