Design Excellence Lead

  • We are seeking a seasoned Product/UI/UX Designer to drive design excellence across our digital ecosystem.
  • Lead end-to-end design thinking processes from discovery to delivery, creating high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and interactive mockups using industry-leading tools.
  • Execute comprehensive user research including behavioral analysis, journey mapping, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on design handoffs and implementation quality assurance.
  • Partner strategically with product and business teams to align design solutions with technical constraints and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain scalable design systems with component libraries and design tokens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, conversion-optimized user experiences while maintaining design system consistency at scale.
  • Drive the development of design standards, style guides, and best practices.

Essential Skills & Expertise:

  • Expert proficiency in Figma with advanced prototyping, component systems, and collaborative workflows.
  • 5+ years applying design thinking methodologies, persona development, and user journey optimization.
  • Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 guidelines and inclusive design principles.
  • Expertise in responsive design, progressive enhancement, and mobile UX best practices.
  • Passion for staying current with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to facilitate developer collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in product design roles in high-growth startups or established tech companies.
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design case studies with measurable business impact.
  • Optional Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field.
  • Background in SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or consumer-facing digital products.
