Area Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth within their designated area by effectively leading and managing a team of field officers.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Target Achievement
- Driving overall monthly sales targets to meet annual sales objectives
- Achieving brand-wise sales targets, particularly for key brands
- Ensuring each field officer territory meets its sales targets and maximizes productivity
- Customer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Development
- Identifying and developing strategic customer relationships and optimizing business contributions
- Monitoring field officer performance with a focus on increasing doctor call averages and ensuring 95% Minimum Customer Reach (MCR) coverage
- Product Optimization
- Identifying core customers for each product and maximizing returns
- Team and Competence Development
- Enhancing in-clinic effectiveness through coordinated field officer efforts on targeted customers, products, and visit frequencies
- Improving field officer competence through joint call coaching and the development of product knowledge and selling skills
- Effective Marketing Program Implementation
- Ensuring successful marketing program execution to develop key brands within each territory through a team of field officers
- Science Graduate (B.Sc. in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, or Life Sciences), or Diploma in Poultry Management
- At least 6 years of experience in first-line management
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, analytical, communication, and execution skills
