Business Finance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Finance professional to drive business growth and optimize costs across various functions.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Instamart business, consumers, categories, and other functions of the organization.
  • They will perform data-driven trend analysis for P&L and revenue metrics, focusing on improving the shape of the P&L whale and highlighting key insights to leadership.
  • A clear understanding of drivers of revenue and impact of pricing decisions on growth is essential.
  • The successful candidate will manage day-to-day P&L with good relationships with business stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • They will create processes for new initiatives and improve existing ones with a focus on governance and cost leakage.
  • Preparation, management, and publication of business scorecards will be an integral part of the role.

Requirements:

  • A CA/MBA/B.Tech degree is required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience post qualification is expected.
  • Strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and PowerPoint skills is necessary.
  • Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, with experience in start-up/Retail preferred.
  • A self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems is required.
  • A continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
