Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking experienced professionals to design, build and manage robust data pipelines. The role involves developing efficient workflows and ensuring data quality, security and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Data Engineering, building data pipelines and cloud-based solutions. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and/or Scala/Java are essential.

AWS cloud services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB and RDS should be well-known to the candidate.

Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions is a plus. Proficiency in big data frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop is also desirable.

  • Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured, unstructured and streaming data.
  • Leverage AWS services for scalable data ingestion, transformation, storage and querying.
  • Ensure robust data governance, security and quality controls throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Enable both real-time and batch data processing pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams to prepare clean datasets.
  • Optimize data infrastructure for high performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, building data pipelines and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and/or Scala/Java.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency in big data frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and schema design principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance and lineage.
  • Hands-on experience in managing real-time streaming data.
