Cloud Data Architect Role

We seek a seasoned Cloud Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data architectures on our cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Architecture Design: Create end-to-end data architectures using AWS-native services such as Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS, ensuring best practices for scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs and objectives.
  • Tool Evaluation and Recommendation: Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies in the AWS ecosystem to improve data infrastructure and drive innovation.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support ongoing development and operations, and share knowledge with the team to promote best practices.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of AWS-native services and their applications in data engineering and architecture.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
