Program Leadership Role

The Project Management Specialist will oversee the planning and execution of multidisciplinary engineering programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning: Develop program plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Progress Tracking: Utilize KPIs and project management tools to track progress and guarantee milestones are met.
  • Customer Interface: Define program requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure a seamless transition from development to production by coordinating with supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Drive problem-solving, issue resolution, and change management during the program lifecycle.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with defense/aerospace standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Optics, or related field); Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 6-10 years of experience in engineering program/project management in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech hardware domains.
  • Product Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of product development lifecycle for complex electro-optical or embedded systems.
  • Team Management: Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners/vendors.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Defense/Military Standards: Knowledge of defense/military standards (e.g., MIL-STD, DO-178, etc.) is an advantage.
