Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Data Platform Engineering Lead to design and implement the core data foundation for our enterprise SaaS and AI-driven products.

You will be responsible for leading the development of clean, scalable models, driving data platform strategy, and enabling a high-velocity product development culture.

  • Develop a robust semantic layer using dbt pipelines
  • Own schema design, documentation, and data contracts across the analytics and application layer
  • Define and enforce data platform best practices, versioning, and governance for all data models
  • Implement data testing, observability, and quality automation to ensure confidence at scale
  • Guide tool selection and platform evolution across the modern data stack
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to ship reliable data-backed features
  • Mentor a growing team of engineers and participate in architecture planning and reviews
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a robust semantic layer using dbt pipelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles
  • Deep experience designing and maintaining normalized and dimensional data models
  • Advanced expertise in dbt (macros, packages, tests, modularization, docs)
  • Expert in SQL, with a focus on PostgreSQL
  • Strong Python scripting for transformation logic and automation
