Financial Operations Specialist

About this Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in our financial operations. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process cash receipts and maintain A/R subledger, process cash disbursements and maintain A/P subledger, payroll processing through payroll provider and accounting software, and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare cash, credit card, and other asset and liability account reconciliations, and maintain support worksheets for each for month end and year end.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor under guidance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field, or similar training or on-the-job experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an accountant in private accounting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Microsoft GP, Sage Intacct, etc.
- Ability to work independently on tasks with some supervision and manage multiple engagements.
