Procurement Specialist Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist will develop and execute procurement strategies for goods and services. This includes implementing e-auction processes through platforms like Ariba.

To achieve this goal, the successful candidate will identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment.

Responsibilities include managing requisitions from start to contract award, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and administration.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring supplier performance and compliance with contractual terms, including delivery schedules, quality standards, and pricing.

In case of procurement-related issues or disputes, the specialist will resolve them in a timely and effective manner, escalating when necessary.

Maintaining accurate records of Auctions, contracts, pricing agreements, and procurement activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures is crucial.

Familiarity with MS Office tools such as PowerPoint and Excel, as well as SAP MM Module and OLA, is required. Knowledge of SAP Ariba is an added advantage.
