Overview:

We are seeking a skilled automation professional to develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile and API applications.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in automation frameworks, testing tools and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile and API applications.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration and performance tests.
  • Identify, log and track defects; work closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with QA, development and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in testing.
  • Generate and share detailed test reports and metrics.
Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript or C#.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate etc).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.
  • ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
