Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior SQL Developer to join our technical team and take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including query writing, optimization, and architecture.

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting efficient data models and schema structures to optimize performance, building, monitoring, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, and conducting deep query performance tuning to handle large datasets with speed and accuracy.

You will also be responsible for implementing and managing role-based security, data masking, and governance within Snowflake, collaborating closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate requirements into high-performing data solutions.

In addition, you will integrate Snowflake with other cloud platforms and BI tools, own and maintain best practices for cost optimization, clustering, and partitioning within Snowflake, and document architecture, queries, and processes for scalability and knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in writing complex SQL queries that scale across very large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics-driven design.
  • Demonstrated success in query performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake.
  • Proficiency with ETL/ELT workflows, including Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
  • Expertise in Python or other programming languages for data transformation and orchestration.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, etc.) and integration with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with caching and real-time frameworks such as Redis.
