About this role

We are looking for a skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the data science solutions provider, you will be responsible for leading and delivering data & analytics projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage unique test environments for each testing cycle.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure test environment availability and consistency.
  • Implement Snowflake testing principles and maintain environment configurations.
  • Manage and manipulate test data in Snowflake data warehouses to support various testing scenarios.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and science teams to ensure realistic and diverse datasets for testing.
  • Implement strategies for efficient ETL processes for testing purposes.
  • Design and execute test cases to validate application functionality and performance using Snowflake data.
  • Ensure tests are independent, isolated, and reflect real-world usage scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Snowflake testing, incorporating data verification and validation.
  • Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software testing with a focus on data-centric testing and Snowflake data platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Azure data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Azure Advanced concepts and complete data flow in all layers of Snowflake Cloud.
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks, and proficiency in scripting languages for automation.
  • Knowledge of data validation, ETL processes, and data integrity testing.
