Key Role: Financial Data Engineer Specialist

Job Description:

Develop and manage data pipelines that handle high-volume financial data, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, and third-party sources.

  • Design and implement end-to-end data workflows for stocks, crypto, and other financial datasets.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and data feeds into internal systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Build and optimize data ingestion, storage, and transformation processes (batch and real-time).
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide clean, structured, and scalable datasets.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, achieving maximum efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Big Data Engineer or equivalent in the financial or crypto domains.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data systems, including Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations, handling real-time streaming data, and databases (relational and NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of financial data structures, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, and derivatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large-scale data challenges.
