Job Overview

The Production Head role is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire production process. This includes manual insertion, Final Goods (FG) production, and testing line production.

  • Lead management of SMT Line, PCB, and Unit Assembly lines to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Team to execute daily, weekly, and monthly material planning, achieving maximum productivity potential (MPP) targets.
  • Resolve daily challenges through structured incident management systems (SIM-1, SIM-2, SIM-3, and SIM-5).
  • Lead SIM-3 and SIM-5 alongside Heads of Departments (HODs) from Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Warehouse, Facilities, Planning, Procurement, Safety, and Human Resources.
  • Conduct regular production meetings to address productivity, efficiency, and quality concerns.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations across manufacturing departments.
  • Drive knowledge enhancement (KE) projects and improvement activities in coordination with support groups.
  • Manage engineering change orders (ECO) documentation and implementation control.
  • Review and recommend enhancements for existing inter-department procedures.
  • Consistently monitor and control non-quality costs through corrective measures using the SRT tool.
  • Take corrective actions through projects to address customer complaints.
  • Implement and maintain standard production systems (SPS).
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring and improvement of all production key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive manpower planning for the plant and implement multi-skilling for the workforce.
  • Continuously monitor and refine daily production planning based on operational demands management (OTDM) requirements and bills of lading (BOL).
  • Drive projects to overcome repeated barriers hindering achievement of KPIs.
