Job Title: Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead our apparel manufacturing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process, ensuring high-quality products meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment manufacturing, with experience in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. You will be skilled in lean manufacturing, quality control, and cost management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive daily, weekly, and monthly production target achievement by monitoring line-wise productivity and implementing corrective measures.
  2. Oversee end-to-end operations across production, quality, maintenance, and material flow, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
  3. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other process improvement methods to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste.
  4. Ensure all products meet defined quality standards (AQL, buyer specifications) through regular in-line and end-line quality checks.
  5. Assist in budget control, waste reduction, and improving cost efficiency by optimizing manpower, machinery, and materials usage.
  6. Foster a performance-driven culture by supervising and guiding production supervisors, quality leads, and support staff, while promoting discipline and accountability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • B.Tech / B.E. (Textile / Garment Technology) or equivalent; Diploma in Apparel Manufacturing accepted for exceptional candidates.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in apparel manufacturing with significant exposure to high-volume production.
  • Proven track record of achieving daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing targets.
  • Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, sewing line balancing, fabric types, trims, and finishing.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO quality systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results in tight timelines.
