Performance Marketer Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a data-driven marketing professional with experience in scaling D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brands through performance marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across platforms to drive revenue growth.
  • Build full-funnel strategies for D2C brands focusing on awareness, consideration, and conversion.
  • Manage daily budgets and bids to ensure efficient delivery and maximize ROI.
Conversion & Growth Optimization:
  • Conduct A/B testing on creatives, copies, audiences, and landing pages to improve campaign performance.
  • Optimize ad funnels from click to purchase to reduce CAC and improve ROAS.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to optimize website CRO.
Analytics & Reporting:
  • Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and attribution platforms.
  • Provide regular performance dashboards with actionable insights.
  • Forecast spends, CAC, and ROI based on past data and industry benchmarks.
Audience & Market Research:
  • Research consumer behavior and market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Build and scale lookalike, retargeting, and interest-based audiences.
  • Create customer cohorts and lifecycle campaigns to increase LTV.
Collaboration & Creative Direction:
  • Work with creative teams to guide ad content and collaborate with product and sales teams to align campaigns with launches and seasonal promotions.
  • Drive innovation by testing new ad formats, platforms, and growth hacks.
Required Skills:
  • 3–6 years of experience in Performance Marketing for D2C e-commerce brands.
  • Strong understanding of digital ad platforms.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools.
  • Deep knowledge of CAC, ROAS, CLV, AOV, retention, attribution modeling.
  • Proven track record of scaling D2C campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategy.
