Software Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is focused on ensuring software meets the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Execute thorough testing procedures to guarantee product functionality meets specified requirements.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects, ensuring the final product meets the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.
  3. Document test results, defects, and issues encountered during testing for clear and concise communication to relevant stakeholders.
  4. Participate in requirement analysis and review to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project objectives.
  5. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
  6. Contribute to the creation and enhancement of automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  8. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
  9. Provide input into the overall QA strategy, including test planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance testing, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail), defect tracking systems, and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases for data validation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
