Performance Tester Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in performance testing, monitoring, and analysis using Dynatrace/AppDynamics/Grafana with excellent reporting skills.

  • This includes proficiency in JMeter expertise for multiple protocols, API (mainly) and web Http/HTML.
  • The candidate should also have hands-on experience in debugging of performance scripts, identification of performance bottlenecks using drill-down analysis using monitoring tools; interaction with various stakeholders for performance issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automated Test Tool Support: Provide technical support for automated test tools used in the performance testing process.
  2. Software Testing Quality Assurance: Ensure software products meet quality standards through thorough testing and validation.
  3. Project Work Product Review: Review, verify, and certify project work products and project deliverables.
  4. Performance Testing Script Development: Plan, strategize, write, and execute performance testing scripts using various tools (mainly JMeter).
  5. Process Audits and Standards Assessments: Establish and perform periodic process audits, standards assessments, schedule, and participate in test reviews, walkthroughs.
