Procurement Professional - Travel Industry

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Executive to oversee supplier relationships, contract negotiations, product quality assurance, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with travel suppliers, including hotels, airlines, and ground service providers.
  • Negotiate terms, rates, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Regularly monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to service delivery or quality.
Contracting and Procurement:
  • Manage the contracting process for new suppliers and renewals, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings and improved service offerings.
  • Implement price matching on a case-by-case basis.
Inventory and Product Management:
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring available products meet client needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure alignment between supplier offerings and customer demands.
Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure suppliers meet company standards and expectations.
  • Address and resolve quality issues promptly, coordinating with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, transactions, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present reports on supplier performance, contract compliance, and cost analysis to senior management.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing supply chain processes and strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance supplier management capabilities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess work experience in the Travel Industry, destination knowledge, language skills, and proficiency in basic office software. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
