Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the procurement department, you will play a vital role in sourcing quality materials and resources, contributing to the success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other essential resources.
  • Issuing purchase orders (POs) and tracking their status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels and coordinating replenishment as required.
Vendor Management
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers and identifying new suppliers to improve quality, cost, and lead times.
  • Resolving any vendor-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, or payment disputes.
Documentation and Compliance
  • Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
Cross-functional Coordination
  • Working closely with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to understand material requirements.
  • Providing updates on delivery schedules and resolving any supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
