Purchasing Executive Role

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Executive to fill this critical position. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience in procuring electrical products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end procurement of electrical items, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical requirements.

  • Identify and evaluate vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Prepare price comparison sheets, negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
  • Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
