Job Title: Commercial Banking SME

Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished subject matter expert to join our BFSI practice team.

This individual will act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights, process consulting, and domain expertise across commercial banking operations.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to drive transformation, support solution design, and ensure delivery excellence in commercial banking engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domain expertise and advice on commercial banking operations, including client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for BPS functions.
  • Own responses to RFP/RFI documents, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives in client banking operations, including process reengineering, automation, and workflow orchestration.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to one or more areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, and client onboarding from operations standpoint.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within a BPS function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree with Master's degree in management or related field.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements.
  • Global exposure to UK, US, APAC, or Middle East banking regulations and practices.
