A trusted Epson Accredited Partner specializing in Large Format Printers for Technical, Textile, and Photo applications is seeking a skilled Service Engineer with 2 years of experience.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality service support for computer systems and large format printing solutions. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing Epson Large Format Printers and computer hardware/software systems to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Epson Large Format Printers at customer locations.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems (hardware and software).
  • Fault Diagnosis and Resolution: Diagnose printer faults, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals.
  • Hardware and Software Support: Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers.
  • Printer Calibration and Testing: Perform calibration, alignment, and test prints to ensure optimal printer performance.
  • Service Reporting: Maintain detailed service reports after each service visit, including issue diagnosis, resolution, and parts used.
  • Technical Coordination: Coordinate with technical support teams and Epson service engineers for complex troubleshooting.
  • Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.
  • Customer Training: Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems.
  • Service KPIs: Ensure timely service response and achieve defined service KPIs.
  • Customer Escalations: Support customer escalations and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Any degree (Engineering, Science, IT, Computer Applications, etc.)
  • Degree Preference: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment.
  • Large Format Printer Knowledge: Knowledge of large format printers (Epson preferred) or computer systems troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Good understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently within Coimbatore & Tirupur region.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and customer service orientation.
