About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Vodafone Idea Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective distribution and channel management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a robust distribution footprint and strong promoter channel to drive sales growth
  • Deliver sales targets across all products by executing a well-planned distribution strategy
  • Maintain high-quality acquisitions through the distribution channel
  • Monitor and report on competition trends and promotional activities
  • Ensure optimal stock availability at retail outlets
  • Develop and execute promotional activities to drive sales and build market credibility

Revenue Targets

  • Achieve zonal revenue targets for the distribution channel across all products

Distribution Expansion

  • Drive retail expansion targets through increased outlet numbers in existing and new geographies

Leadership and Management

  • Manage and develop DSEs (Distribution Sales Executives) to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor DSE performance and provide regular feedback and coaching
  • Collaborate with MD/AD/SD teams to drive distribution KPIs and ensure seamless execution

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales planning, forecasting, and distribution management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data-driven insights
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Post-graduation in business management or MBA preferred
