Job Overview\


As a Senior CMDB Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.\


You will establish relationships between Configured Items to accurately reflect dependencies within the IT infrastructure.\


Your responsibilities will also include performing data cleansing and deduplication activities, managing the CMDB module, improving data representation accuracy, and developing and tracking key performance indicators for CMDB health.\


In addition, you will configure and manage data discovery tools to automatically populate the CMDB with information from various IT systems.\


You will integrate CMDB data with other ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.\


Mapping data from external systems to the CMDB schema is also part of your role.\


Furthermore, you will define data quality standards and metrics for the CMDB, establish data ownership and accountability across different teams, and implement data validation processes to ensure data integrity.\


Strong technical expertise in external data source integrations, ITOM discovery, OT Module, and SAM Module is required.\


A solid understanding of CSDM model and lifecycle is also necessary.\


You will work closely with IT teams to ensure accurate and timely updates to the CMDB and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to the CMDB and ITOM.\
