Job Role:

As a senior leader in our organization, we are seeking a highly experienced Building Management Systems Engineer to spearhead the execution and management of our building management systems (IBMS) and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, chilled water plants, pumps, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), valves, and utility systems, as well as experience in IBMS integration using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols.

Key Responsibilities include project execution and coordination, managing MEP works related to HVAC, chilled water plants, utility systems, and IBMS integration, overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of central chiller plants, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping, and controls, and integrating IBMS platforms with chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical panels, and safety systems.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for reviewing MEP and IBMS design drawings, BOQ, equipment specifications, and shop drawings, validating system architecture for BMS, HVAC, Chiller Plant Manager (CPM), SCADA/DCS, and utility monitoring systems, and ensuring adherence to ASHRAE, ISHRAE, IS codes, NBC, and international standards.

In addition, the successful candidate will implement QA/QC checks for equipment installation, piping, cabling, and control systems, enforce HSE practices during site execution in compliance with safety standards, conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for critical systems, conduct performance testing of chiller plants and IBMS dashboards, optimize plant operation through automation, control strategies, and energy efficiency, prepare O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and training sessions for facility teams, and support project handover to facility management teams with complete documentation.

Mandatory skills and competencies include strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, valves, and utility systems, hands-on experience in IBMS integration, project execution experience in data centers/hospitals/airports/large commercial buildings, familiarity with electrical panels, PLC/DCS, VFDs, UPS, DG, and power monitoring systems, knowledge of energy efficiency standards and green building codes, expertise in project scheduling and reporting, and strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination.
