Job Opportunity: Medical Coder - Multispeciality

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented medical coder to accurately assign codes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing radiology reports to ensure compliance with federal regulations, payer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Coding a variety of radiology modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation oncology.
  • Collaborating with radiologists, billing staff, and auditors to resolve coding discrepancies.
  • Staying updated with coding guidelines, NCCI edits, and regulatory changes.
  • Meeting productivity and accuracy benchmarks as established by the department.
  • Assisting in internal and external audits as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in medical coding.
  • In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.
  • Familiarity with payer-specific rules and LCD/NCD policies.
