
Clinical Nephrology Specialist

We are seeking a full-time Nephrologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Kolkata. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing acute and chronic kidney diseases, overseeing and performing dialysis and hemodialysis procedures, and providing pre- and post-kidney transplant care in collaboration with transplant teams.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach. They should also have the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
The successful candidate will be working closely with other medical professionals, including cardiologists, critical care specialists, urologists, endocrinologists, and others. They will participate in hospital continuing education programs, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases
- Oversee and perform dialysis and hemodialysis procedures
- Provide pre- and post-kidney transplant care in collaboration with transplant teams
- Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and long-term disease management
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in hospital CMEs, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs
- Requirements:
- MBBS from a recognized medical college
- MD (General Medicine) followed by DM (Nephrology) or equivalent DNB (Nephrology) from an NMC-recognized institute
- Proven clinical expertise in dialysis, hemodialysis, and transplant nephrology
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
