Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer in Distributed Systems

The role of a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer is to ensure that the software application meets the required standards by identifying and reporting defects.

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to join our team in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing manual tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality from design to release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust automation frameworks using programming languages like Python and Java, and tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Validate complex workflows across hybrid and on-prem environments, ensuring seamless integration with distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to identify and prioritize testing needs, and to drive quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering cluster lifecycle management, security, networking, and platform integrations.
  • Perform performance and scalability testing across VM-based deployments and Kubernetes environments, and validate enterprise-grade scenarios like backup and restore, air-gapped installs, and software upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure, database, or enterprise software.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java, with hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices, including Agile development methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
