Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python-based automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests across web and API layers, ensuring seamless integration into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python programming language.
  • Strong experience with Robot Framework is necessary to drive test automation efforts.
  • The selected candidate should have hands-on experience in Java and Selenium.
  • Develop and execute Selenium-based test scripts for web applications to ensure smooth user experiences.
  • Built and maintained automated API test scripts using tools like requests, pytest, or Postman.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and design test strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Implement test coverage reporting, debugging, and result analysis to measure success.
  • Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve processes.
  • Troubleshoot failures, report defects, and ensure follow-up for resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and manage test data and environments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in test practices and tools to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming language is essential.
  • Experience with Robot Framework, Java, and Selenium is required.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
