Financial Operations Manager

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization.

The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in accounting principles, tax compliance, contract management, and financial reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management
    • Oversee day-to-day financial functions in compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
    • Preparation and finalization of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, P&L Account, and Cash Flow Statements.
    • Manage fund allocation, investments, and securities (scripts) efficiently.
    • Ensure accurate bank reconciliation, foreign remittances, and guarantee management.
    • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
  • Taxation & Compliance
    • Ensure timely filing and compliance of taxes, such as GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and Income Tax.
    • Monitor tax liabilities and ensure accurate calculation & timely payments.
    • Handle statutory audits, tax assessments, and liaise with auditors and consultants.
    • Maintain compliance with government regulations and financial laws.
  • Contract Management
    • Review, draft, and manage contracts, agreements, and financial clauses with clients and vendors.
    • Ensure financial risk assessment and compliance in agreements.
  • Banking & Treasury Operations
    • Manage relationships with banks for guarantees and other facilities.
    • Handle BGs/PBGs, Solvency Certificate, foreign payments, and fund transfers efficiently.
  • Systems & Processes
    • Ensure efficient use of accounting software (Tally/ERP or equivalent).
    • Implement process improvements for financial efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
    • Train and supervise the accounts team, ensuring smooth workflow.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, tax laws, and contract management.
  • Expertise in investment accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Proven experience in handling contracts, agreements, and client billing.
  • Hands-on experience in foreign payments, bank reconciliation, and guarantee management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP), MS Excel, and financial tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
