Electrical Modeler Role

We are seeking a skilled electrical specialist to create, manage and coordinate 3D electrical models.

  • Develop and manage 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.
  • Create electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules and lighting systems.
  • Prepare electrical circuit layouts, schematics and construction drawings.
  • Ensure clash detection and resolution by coordinating with MEP disciplines.
  • Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings and installation drawings based on design models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and contractors for BIM execution and coordination.
  • Follow project-specific BIM standards, LOD requirements and documentation protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in BIM electrical modeling for MEP projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM 360.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and cable routing.
  • Experience with clash detection, coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
