Since 1996, we have been designing, building and managing some of the best homes in the world. We currently have 8 projects with around 4500 custom designed, furnished homes as well as commercial and institutional buildings, covering a total saleable area of approximately 14 million square feet under construction at Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.

Purpose

The PHE BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing detailed Building Information Models for plumbing, firefighting, irrigation and Public Health Engineering systems within various construction projects. He/she will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate PHE & irrigation designs into the overall project model, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

3D Modelling:

Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for irrigation and PHE systems (plumbing, drainage, fire protection, etc.)

Clash Detection:

Identify and resolve clashes between irrigation, PHE systems and other building components

Documentation:

Generate construction drawings, schedules, and other documentation related to irrigation, PHE systems

Collaboration:

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) disciplines

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the irrigation, PHE BIM models and related documentation

Compliance:

Adhere to relevant BIM standards, project specifications, and building codes

Project Support:

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution related to PHE systems

Software Proficiency:

Utilize BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or similar, with expertise in PHE system modeling and detailing

Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve technical issues related to PHE design and construction

Skills and Qualifications:

BIM Expertise: Proven experience in BIM modeling and its application to MEP or PHE systems

PHE Knowledge: Solid understanding of plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems design principles and relevant codes

Software Skills: Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, etc.

Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and create accurate construction documentation

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with project teams

Requirement

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant field's engineering with 2+ years of experience in PHE Modeling

Proficiency in BIM software like Revit

A strong understanding of PHE system design principles and codes, knowledge of BIM standards
