Image Editor Job Description

Overview:

The Image Editor is responsible for creating photorealistic mockups of apparel items to visualize design concepts. This role involves working closely with graphic designers, product developers, and marketing teams to ensure that mockups align with brand standards and design requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality digital assets for marketing, e-commerce, and social media teams.
  • Create photorealistic mockups of apparel items, including t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and accessories.
  • Work closely with graphic designers, product developers, and marketing teams to understand the vision and translate it into realistic mockups.
  • Organize and maintain mockup templates and design files for easy access and version control.
  • Ensure all mockups are color accurate and meet brand standards for presentation across multiple digital platforms.
  • Revise mockups based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring high standards and alignment with brand aesthetics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mockup design or related work in an apparel or fashion brand.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, fabric types, and garment construction.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
