Job Title: Senior Manager IP

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager IP to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Manage Intellectual Property Portfolio: Develop and manage the growing intellectual property portfolio of the company, ensuring its optimal and timely protection.
  • Enforce IP Processes: Enforce intellectual property processes in the organization to ensure the optimal and timely protection of intellectual property as well as protecting third-party partner interests.
  • Collaborate with Global Teams: Work closely with global IP head, research and development, and portfolio teams to identify products to be introduced into the development grid, devise and manage the most effective product development strategy for the portfolio, and identify patentable inventions and provide guidance regarding the patentability of inventions under review.
  • Draft Patents and Related Documents: Draft patents, freedom to operate reports, infringement and validity analysis, risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • File and Prosecute Inventions: File and prosecute inventive solutions to build significant wealth of intellectual property.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Third-Party Publications: Monitor and evaluate third-party scientific and patent publications.
  • Provide Strategic Advice: Provide IP-related inputs to support legal agreements and negotiations, partner with other legal and business functions to provide strategic advice and strategy in connection with strategic M&A transactions, licensing agreements, research collaborations, adverse proceedings, and litigation activities.
  • Manage Patent and Trademark Issues: Manage patent, trademark, copyright, and related issues.
  • Maintain Intellectual Property Records: Maintain appropriate record architecture and content of the company's inventions, know-how, trade secrets, and registered intellectual property.
  • Educate Team Members: Educate management and scientists in the organization on the current best practices for the protection of inventions and intellectual property.
  • Lead IP Team: Lead, empower, and coach a team of IP professionals.
