Search Solutions Developer

We are seeking an experienced Search Solutions Developer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge search solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with deep knowledge of information retrieval systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing advanced search functionality using modern search technologies, ensuring high-quality, scalable search applications with focus on relevancy, performance, and user experience.
  • Creating and optimizing search algorithms, ranking models, and retrieval methods to improve search results accuracy and efficiency.
  • Developing machine learning models for search ranking to provide personalized search results.
  • Discovering and fixing programming bugs to ensure smooth search application operation.
  • Monitoring and optimizing search performance metrics to maintain high-quality search services.
Key Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on search solutions development.
  • 3+ years of experience developing search solutions with Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with search engines and information retrieval systems.
