At Oracle X Store, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Analyst to drive our retail technology initiatives forward. Our ideal candidate will have a focus on analyzing complex systems and processes for new feature implementation and design improvements.

About the Role:

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Point of Sale applications.
  • Design scalable technical solutions and ensure seamless integration of POS applications with omni-channel systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with a focus on POS applications.
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Knowledge of POS hardware and software integration. XStore POS-related experience is a significant asset.

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with program teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Build business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Ensure production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness for guest and employee profiles, transactions, etc.
  • Build and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations.
  • Automate report generation in Power BI, Splunk, etc., to get meaningful KPIs.
