We are seeking a seasoned software engineering leader to drive the development of our Digital banking solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, be a strong communicator and have experience in leading high-performing teams.

This role is based at our Bangalore office (Hybrid) and offers the opportunity to work on complex technical projects that impact millions of customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day technical operations
  • Assist in training new employees and reviewing team performance
  • Develop and assign work schedules/tasks
  • Review ongoing operations and rectify any issues
  • Participate in design and code reviews to improve product quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class customer experience
  • Lead groups of engineers working with the Product team to coordinate and deliver
  • Provide technical support to operations or other development teams
  • Review work of peers and team members
  • Participate in planning sessions to analyze development requirements and provide design options
  • Actively participate in team and status meetings, providing timely updates for areas of individual responsibility

Required Skills:

  • High technical credibility and strong programming skills with Java EE, SQL, JavaScript, JMS, REST and SOAP services
  • Strong experience in Java frameworks, especially Spring framework
  • In-depth knowledge of software development principles, design patterns and best practices
  • Solid experience with SQL queries, stored procedures, views and triggers for Oracle databases
  • Proficiency in Java, data structures and algorithms, collections and concurrency
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
  • Experience in leading teams through all phases of software development cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
