Job Role: Energy Storage Specialist

Design and develop electrical systems for battery-based energy storage systems, including PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the USA.

Responsibilities:
  1. Review technical documents and installations to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare FAT and integration test plans for BESS systems and conduct technical reviews of vendor-provided documents.
  3. Project manage bids and projects throughout their life cycle, ensuring timely completion and within allocated resources.
  4. Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
  5. Attend training sessions on equipment provided by manufacturers and approved by your manager, enhancing your skills and knowledge.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Competent Microsoft office software skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Client management, team management, and process management skills are desirable.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of current battery technologies and ability to relate them to battery parameters.
  2. Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
  3. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
