Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our backend systems, ensuring high reliability and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning technical execution for backend and frontend modules
  • Leading delivery across the team
  • Enhancing and evolving existing backend systems with scalable architecture patterns
  • Architecting high-performance services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Ensuring production readiness with robust monitoring and alerting practices on AWS
  • Mentoring and leading engineers to grow backend engineering capabilities

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of backend experience, with recent hands-on development in Java and Spring Boot
  • Proven experience building and scaling systems to handle high throughput, low latency, and event-driven architecture
  • Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure components: EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, VPC, and more
  • Familiarity with DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tuning
  • Leadership and collaboration skills to influence technical decisions and align with business objectives
