Job Title: Director of Engineering Design

Job Description:

As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the design and execution of engineering activities for civil and structural projects related to solar power plants. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing drawings and documents, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely delivery of engineering deliverables.

  • Manage the development of 3D models and facilitate collaboration among design teams.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to inform design specifications and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review vendor deliverables and provide technical clarifications to support smooth project progress.
  • Provide guidance on estimating and planning man-hour requirements, as well as reviewing BOQ submissions from contracts teams.
  • Ensure alignment between project schedule and engineering deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and executing engineering activities for civil and structural projects.
  • Coordinating with multiple disciplines for inter-departmental checks.
  • Providing support and clarifications to site execution teams.
  • Inspecting equipment from finalized vendors.
  • Clarifying issues related to design and client requirements.

Technical Expertise:

  • Engineering activities for civil and structural covering control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads, and drainage.
